Welcome to Tobin's Page

We created this site to share Tobin's miraculous story, and to help keep our friends and family up-to-date on his recovery.  We are blessed every day with his presence and wish to share it with those who supported and loved him along the way.  We truly believe your thoughts and prayers helped him survive.

The Early Weeks link on the left will take you through Tobin's terrifying early days through his miraculous recovery and finally his long-awaited homecoming.   After that we moved to monthly photo galleries, with extra links to special events.  If you'd like to skip the descriptions and get right to the pictures, go to the Photo Links. 

This site will be updated as often as possible.  Our new "normal" keeps us on our toes, but we are constantly adjusting and getting better at managing the days.  The journal that Tricia kept throughout Tobin's battle is still available on Tobin's Caring Bridge website:  http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/tobinjaykurtzman.  What a wonderful service that company provides to families in need.

New updates will be posted on this site's Blog page.  It is easier for us to maintain and now Tricia can ramble on without having to break up the entry into multiple postings.  When you don't get around to updating very often, you end up having a lot to say!

 

We hope you enjoy watching Tobin grow and recover at home through these pictures.  We love to photograph our precious angel, and we especially love to capture the sweet interaction between Tobin and his doting brother and sister.  Eva and Lucas continue to amaze us with their astounding ability to accept all that has happened.  They show no resentment; instead they shower Tobin with profound adoration.  We are so very blessed.
